What’s Happening in Adelaide for the month of March

Adelaide Fringe Festival

If you haven’t already seen the fabulous lights and buzz around the city of Adelaide, then where have you been?! Adelaide is looking dazzling right now and it’s because of our infamous and beloved Fringe Festival. Whether you are a bit of a foodie or looking for entertainment this renowned South Aussie festival truly caters to all. Bigger than ever, this year’s turnout has been exceptional. Closing on Sunday 19 March, there is still plenty of time to visit the Garden of Unearthly Delights and the neighbouring attraction Gluttony before time is up! 

Come From Away (March 28)

This month Adelaide is treated to the delight of yet another musical attraction visiting our state, for the first time, Come From Away, will be performing at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Adelaide from March 28 to April 29. The Tony Award winning musical tells the story of thousands of stranded passengers in Newfoundland, Canada during 9/11 in 2001. This is one truly moving tale that is a must see for Adelaide theatre lovers!

WOMADelaide

This open-air festival is truly loved by many. Originating in 1992, WOMADelaide has become a global attraction over the past decades and invites so many into our wonderful state. Celebrating cultural diversity, arts, music and dance ideas from around the world. This festival is held on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people in the stunning Botanic Park. Enjoy a range of rich activities and performances by so many, there really is so much to experience and see during this wonderful festival. WOMADelaide is being held at Botanic Park on March 10 - 13 2023. 

Lorde 

Since restrictions have been lifted, we have been treated to an incredible lineup of artists making their way back down under and we just can’t get enough! Lorde is set to return to Adelaide on Thursday 16 March to play an array of her new and old favourites. The singer has not toured in Australia since 2014 when her iconic single ‘Royals’ skyrocketed on the charts. A dedicated performer from New Zealand, Lorde’s ‘The Solar Power Tour’ will be a stunning arrangement of her vocal masterpieces.

Goodness Me Festival

Because who doesn’t love a bit of health and wellness? At our office we certainly do, self care is so important for overall well being and that’s exactly what the Goodness Me Festival is promoting. The two day festival is being held over the weekend of March 18 & 19, jam packed with yoga, live music, meditation, nutritious food, sound healing and so much more! If you’re looking for a weekend to reset and refocus then why not check out this grounding event. 

Florence + The Machine

Not having been to Australia for over 4 years, Florence + The Machine is set to return to play at WOMADelaide this year. The 6 time Grammy nominee is set to perform an incredible set to the crowd of Adelaide on Saturday 11 March.  Her voice is exquisite and would be even better live for all audience members to experience - hurry there is still time to secure your tickets! 

On Repeat: Harry Styles Event

Post HSLOT blues hitting hard? Because same, we understand. We love Harry and are sad to see him leave Australia this week after a phenomenal live tour around our country. But fear not!
